Born Green

Its official. I'm initiating a website. Join me if you'd like. I've tried all weekend to purchase a domain but keep running into technical difficulties. I'm also trying to decide if I'm going to start a second blog, or simply change the name of this one. Input welcome.

I love it! I think you nailed it and this could be big! So many young people are into recycling and into doing things to preserve the environment. There is so much unnecessary medical "trash" that requires special ways to be disposed of. I am a bit older and beyond childbearing but I have thought alot about about "green funerals". I don't want someone to make a lot of money off of my death! I don't understand the purpose of being embalmed and put into a vault. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust! Just as with birth, keep things to a minimum!

I'm going to post this on MOM2MOM when you get a web page started, a domain name owned. I don't want anyone stealing your book...erhm...idea!

Sylvia,
did you read my blog story from last year about a green funeral I participated in? It was all so cool. Thanks for the support Syl, Dawn and everyone else. I feel my time has come. I knew I'd always start a non-prof and now the time has come. This is why the book didn't get finished before now.

I am new to blogs, just started reading them in the last couple of months. There is so much to read I can't seem to get anything done! Now I am going back to your archives to read about a green funeral. Cool!

I loved your post about the green funeral, and recommend simply starting up another blog--you can move later...it is easy and everyone can access it that already reads and loves you so much!
: )
Best of luck with this latest cool idea!
